Session 1: April 8, 15 Session 2: May 13, 20 This could easily be a four session class, but has been broken up into two sessions to allow more people to jump in and try it. Anyone taking both sessions will be able to grow and practice techniques learned the first time around. There is much to learn! Student will learn about choosing color, conditioning clay, rolling, stacking and stretching patterns. Class one is devoted to making patterns. These patterns will be used to make clay beads (the same skills could be applied to a number of other design ideas once you learn the basics). Class two will allow participants to continue creating and finishing pieces. Any pieces that may be finished in class one will be baked/fired and returned to students at class two. Items made in class two will be sent home with instructions on how to finish them off at home. What to Bring: Students should bring a small box to take items home. *Supplies: Each student receives a material kit with supplies (included in class fee).
